RUG QUALITY DESCRIPTION AND CARE

Hand Hooked Rugs – are first hand hooked and hand crafted through a canvas and then reinforced with another canvas backing for lasting durability.  May be made in yarns of cloth, cotton, wool or acrylic.  Professional rug cleaning only. 

 
Tufted Rugs – are hand gun tufted, sheared then brushed to give them a soft texture.  The elements may be carved depending on the design, with the end result in an extremely plush and beautiful product.  May be made of cotton, wool, silk or acrylic.  Professional rug cleaning only.

 
Tufted and Hand Hooked Rugs – are perfect examples of excellent craftsmanship.  The combination of tufting and hooking creates an inlaid pattern of different textures.  May also be created in Hi/Low construction for added detail and feel.  This rug construction is perfectly exhibited in combinations of wool, silk, cotton and wool or cotton and silk.  Professional rug cleaning only.

 
Shaggy Raggy Rugs – are made by taking each fabric and first hand dying it to achieve color and texture and then woven using cut strips.  Then it is tied by hand to achieve its unique look.  May be of plain or printed cotton or jersey.  Shake off or vacuum from back side.  Washable.  Professional cleaning recommended.
